The painting encapsulates the mesmerizing spectacle that unfolded before me amidst the company of hundreds of wild peacocks in the heart of India. The canvas pulsates with lively colors and intricate details, eloquently portraying the breathtaking beauty of these splendid birds set against the serene backdrop of an oasis. In the forefront, a regal peacock commands attention, its iridescent plumage meticulously rendered with exquisite detail. The vibrant tones of blues, greens, and golds appear to dance as the bird proudly showcases its resplendent tail feathers. Each intricate pattern on its feathers serves as a testament to the mesmerizing designs inherent in nature. "Peacock Strolls Through the Oasis" is, at its core, a jubilant homage to the irresistible allure of India’s wildlife. Here, the untamed elegance of wild peacocks harmoniously intertwines with the peaceful charm of an oasis, imprinting an enduring impression on the observer. Acrylic on canvas, acrylic wax, varnished, 47x60cm

This painting captures a fascinating moment in the vast Sahara Desert, where I encountered the Tuaregs, known as the "Blue Men of the Desert." Tuaregs are nomadic Berber ethnic groups, native to Morocco and other regions of North Africa, including Algeria, Mauritania, Libya, Niger, and Mali. The cunning Tuareg depicted in this painting embodies the mysterious spirit of the Sahara. Adorned in traditional indigo-blue attire and a pristine white jellabiya, his presence is simultaneously mysterious and sudden. The intricate patterns on the fabric speak to a rich cultural heritage, while the nomadic spirit is manifested in every detail. The desert landscape serves as a backdrop to this encounter, enhancing the aura of the Tuareg’s nomadic way of life. This portrait conveys the essence of this people and their connection to the vast desert, which defines their existence. Acrylic on canvas, acrylic marker, varnish, 47x56cm, 2023

On this painting - a serene desert scene unfolds, where space and tranquility merge seamlessly. At the center of attention - there I am, depicted in this idyllic setting, gazing into the distance. Behind me - majestic golden dunes, resembling waves, bathed in the rays of the evening sun. In the background - an oasis with green palms, symbolizing life in this barren desert. Above - azure sky, dotted with golden stars, each carrying its own universe story, spreading magical light over the desert. This image - reflects my journey through the Sahara in Morocco, a moment of peace and tranquility in the heart of the vast sandy world. "The Black Tuareg" is a portrait of a mysterious representative of an ancient people inhabiting North Africa. Clad in traditional black attire, symbolizing the wealth of this region, he stands as a symbol of incredible cultural depth. The traditional white scarf wrapped around his head is not only a clothing element but also a symbol of their history and way of life. Despite their authenticity, some members of this community belong to the elite of their people and enjoy indulging in luxury: expensive cars, golden watches, choosing luxurious hotels for leisure, and traveling in private planes. In this painting, the golden sunglasses and buttons on his clothing serve as symbols of an elegant and luxurious lifestyle. This portrait of the Black Tuareg transports us to the world of ancient traditions and cultural artifacts, where each detail is a key to their rich heritage. Acrylic on canvas, oil stick, varnish, 47x60cm, 2023

This artwork embodies the beauty and traditions of Berber women, who are part of an ancient tribal community in North Africa with a rich history. The Berbers, one of the oldest ethnic groups in the region, have ancestors mentioned in ancient Egyptian inscriptions, and the term "Berber" originates from the Greeks, who labeled them as "barbarians" due to the unfamiliarity of their language. Interestingly, Berbers have European origins and are the indigenous people of North Africa, distinct from both black Africans and Arabs. During the Byzantine era, Christianity was the dominant religion among the Berbers, and it was only after the Arab conquest of North Africa that they embraced Islam. Encountering this people during my travels in Morocco was fascinating, and I learned a great deal about the history of the region from them. The face of this Berber woman is adorned with tattoos, and her eyes are accentuated with kohl, radiating mystery and depth. Her long, jet-black hair and sun-kissed skin shimmer with a golden hue, accentuating the luxury of natural beauty. The black headscarf with golden and violet threads adds sophistication to her appearance, while silver jewelry complements her overall look, emphasizing her status and grandeur. The ornaments in the background are crafted in the style of traditional Berber art, revealing the splendor and richness of Berber history. Acrylic on canvas, varnish, 47x57cm, 2023

Moroccan carpets are among the most famous in the world. One day, I was walking in the city of Fes, and an old man came up to me and offered me to buy a carpet: ’Just have a look.’ I refused. I would gladly buy it, but at that time, I didn’t even have my own home. I created this painting inspired by that encounter. Against the backdrop of a carpet with vibrant Moroccan patterns, I depicted a cactus resembling aloe, creating a contrast of color and form. Symbolism is embedded in this painting: the cactus becomes a symbol of life energy, while the Moroccan carpet is an expression of respect for traditions and art. Thus, the artwork conveys a profound meaning of encountering natural resilience and cultural richness. Acrylic on canvas, oil sticks, varnish, 47x60cm, 2023

This painting was created based on my reflections on the situation in the Middle East. The portrait conveys the anxieties and concerns carried by mothers on both sides of the current conflict—their hearts filled with compassion and hope. In the mother’s eyes, there is sorrow for losses and concern for the lives of her children and loved ones. However, the vibrant colors of her attire symbolize unwavering resilience and a determination to continue living. Acrylic on canvas, varnished, 59x47cm, 2023

The painting, inspired by the Tuareg alphabet Tifinagh, beckons us to delve into the mysterious world of ancient script, which resembles messages from space rather than earthly texts. The black background symbolizes darkness and ignorance, while the red border adds energy and a thirst for knowledge. Yellow Tifinagh letters, glowing against the dark backdrop, embody the power of light and knowledge penetrating through the darkness of ignorance, representing an ongoing pursuit of wisdom and knowledge. Used by many Berber groups in North Africa, the Tuareg alphabet represents a unique cultural heritage. Scholars speculate that the Tuareg alphabet was associated with priestesses of matriarchal cults and served as a form of cryptography, distinguishing it from other writing systems like the Phoenician and ancient Libyan scripts. While Tuareg women continue to use Tifinagh for personal notes and letters, men are more inclined to use Arabic or Latin alphabets, especially in business contexts. The age of the Tuareg script, estimated by scholars to be over 3,000 years old, makes it one of the oldest writing systems. A revised version known as Neo-Tifinagh is currently in official use in Morocco. Acrylic on canvas, oil, coal, oil stick, varnish, 91x72cm cm, 2021

This abstract painting captures the moment of nature’s awakening. The green hues convey the freshness of the morning meadow, where dew has yet to evaporate under the rays of the rising sun. The tranquility of this moment is pierced by the blue rays of the early sunlight, playing on the canvas, momentarily blinding and inviting into the world of nature reawakening. It’s a painting of the promise of a new day, the serenity of dawn, where each brushstroke seems imbued with the scent of fresh meadow, filling the atmosphere of the early morning.

On an acrylic canvas unfolds a captivating world: Tifinagh, the ancient script of the semi-nomadic Tuareg people, belonging to the Berber ethnic group, dances against a serene blue background. In this mesmerizing painting, the Berber language comes to life, etched in strokes that echo the traditions of ancient Berber scripts. Each brushstroke is a tribute to the rich history and cultural heritage of the Tuareg people, inviting viewers into the mystical world and the language it carries through the ages. Their unique attire, a blue veil that protects their faces from the wind and scorching sun, holds the answer. The blue color is considered a talisman, safeguarding the Tuaregs from malevolent spirits, and this painting conveys this mysterious ritual in the context of the rich culture and traditions of this fascinating people.
